Peas Pulao (Rice with green peas)

- 2 cups rice
- 2 cups chicken stock (optional)
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2-3/4 cup fresh peas shelled
Sweet and Spicy Soya Chunks (Dried Soya nuggets cooked in a sweet and spicy sauce)

- 11/2-2 cups soya chunks
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoons ghee
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 garlic pod minced
- 1 red, yellow or orange bell pepper cubed
- 1 tablespoon each of chilly garlic sauce
- 2 tablespoons each of soya sauce, white vinegar
- 1 heaped teaspoon each of sugar, corn flour
- 1/2 teaspoon each of red chilly flakes
- 1 green chilly sliced thin
- salt to taste
Mix soya sauce, vinegar, sugar, chilly garlic sauce and corn flour in this water and set aside.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the soya chunks for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside
heat the oil in the same pan and fry the onions till tender. Add minced garlic chilly flakes and chilly slices and fry for 2 minutes. Add bell pepper and fry for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Check for salt and add a little if desired. Garnish with cilantro and green onions and enjoy Sweet and Spicy Soya Chunk curry
